It has been a busy year for the 2010-2011 McMath Interact Club. With over 80 active and energetic students involved in the group, Ms. D. Simonson and her students worked on a variety of different projects for a variety of different causes. Meeting regularly at 7am Friday mornings, the group shared information about their work but more importantly took the time to learn and develop life-long skills. In the end, members of both our local and global communities benefited along with the personal growth of each student involved. The McMath Interact Club is under the guidance as well as sponsored by the Rotary Club of Steveston. With over 70 students in our 2010-2011 year, the Interact Club has chosen 4 special projects: three in the local community and one international service. With the support of the administrator and teachers of McMath Secondary School and the members of the Rotary Club of Steveston, we hope to have another successful year.
